Where can you grade?
We mainly operate from London in the UK. That being said, travel isn’t a problem as we work with clients all over the world and can book time in a post-production studio close to you, provided these costs are covered.
How long will a project take?
When filling the contact form let us know how long your project is, and this will determine how long the grade will take. Here is a rough guideline, but each project can be very different.
Commercial Promos: 1/2 - 2 days
Music Videos: 1 - 2 days
Feature Films: 1 - 3 weeks
Short Films (5-20 minutes): 1 - 3 days
What do I need to send for a grade?
We can grade from a pre-conformed timeline or straight from the original rushes.
A pre-conformed timeline is a final cut of the project that has no transition effects or titles and is exported as either an Apple Prores 4444, 422 HQ or DNxHD 175x / 185x file. Or you can send over a hard drive and we can grade the original rushes (best quality possible).
If you send us the project on a hard drive these files need to be included:
The original rushes
EDL, XML (Premiere/Final Cut) & AAF (Avid) of the final edit including all sizing, reposition, speed changes, and graphics/titles
An Offline mp4 / mov of the final edit with burnt in source clip file name and source timecode. 1080 x 1920 minimum resolution, matching the aspect ratio of the final output and including all effects included in the XML/AAF
A stereo 48KHz 16 bit WAV of the audio (same length as the edit)
A Prores 4444 HD (or higher) in *LOG. (Please note that if this can’t be supplied, any speed changes or other transforms that can't be match exactly will be sent back at source res with handles to be onlined)
